The new BMW Z4 M Roadster is slated to hit showrooms sometime within the next week and it is sure to be a hit with BMW enthusiasts everywhere. The Z4 M is the big brother to the Z3 M with 330 hp in it’s 24 valve inline 6. Not bad for a car that weighs in at under 3,200 lbs.

The engineers at BMW basically took the M3 engine and dropped it into a the Z4, a much lighter vehicle creating a recipe for speed and more fun. A six-speed manual short throw ZF transmission adds to the thrills.

The Z4 is in the same league with the Porsche Boxter and the Mercedes SLK AMG, its two main competitors. 

Performance is quick with zero to sixty time at 4.9 seconds and a governor limited top speed of 155. Pricing starts at $51,995
